Ode to National Puppy Day
Once a puppy, always a puppy!
Sawyer may be 3 years old (not really sure as we adopted him as a rescue) but he has the spirit and heart of a puppy. He's a daily delight and dose of amazing cuteness and utterly unconditional love.
Here is one of our favourite Sawyer moments. Napping and basking in the sun after a long day of hiking and swimming in Nellie Lake in Killarney Provincial Park. Actually, I think this is late morning or early afternoon based on the sun's reflections in the lake. Makes sense as we do tend to get up rather early when camping. This one in particular was a 4 day loop - beautiful, long portages, hidden waterfalls and ended with a broken rib. Not his :)
So grateful that he's a natural dog-wonder who loves the outdoors as much as we do.
