Why used?
In the fast-paced, single-use culture of our current times we need to remember how unsustainable that is. Slow down, buy used, protect our planet, play with your dog!
Trade In!
Send us your used Ruffwear or Non-Stop Dogwear gear in saleable, working condition and we'll find a new dog for it! Eligible items will receive a store credit of up to 25% of the item's MSRP to use online at See SAWYER Run (new gear) or Wandered & Worn (used gear). If your gear doesn't make the cut then it can be returned to you or donated to a dog rescue in need.
All used gear will be graded by condition; Excellent, Great, Good, and priced accordingly. Pricing is generally between 30 to 70% less than buying new! Be sure to read each item description as all used gear is final sale and there is no warranty.

- Excellent: basically looks brand new, likely hardly used, minimal dirt and/or fur
- Great: some signs of wear, possibly mild dirt and/or fur
- Good: normal wear and tear from adventures, possibly moderate dirt and/or fur, possibly signs of repair but everything fully functional

An all-around backpack for the canine community. The Ruffwear Approach Pack™ is ideal for day hikes or overnight adventures. Radial cut saddlebags create a passive compression system that is form fitting. Its harness frame allows for an even, balanced load to prevent the saddlebags from shifting during movement along varied terrain. Lightweight materials, streamlined design, padding and 5 points of adjustment ensure a custom and comfortable fit!
Pack and stash all canine equipment, i.e. food, water, bowls, boots, and coat, in the Ruffwear Approach Pack - and you're good to go!
TIPS: For best results, use the girth measurement. Start with only a few items and slowly add more as your pooch becomes accustomed to the load. Please ensure your dog carries no more than 25% of their body weight in their dog pack.
