Often your gear just needs to be cleaned of dirt to revitalize DWR, enter Nikwax Tech Wash®! Traditional laundry detergents leave hydrophilic (water attracting) residues so they should be avoided when cleaning waterproof gear. A product that claims to both clean and waterproof is also to be avoided as it can seal in dirt and you don't need to re-waterproof your gear every time you clean it. Regular cleaning will enhance the performance of any waterproof gear. You should be able to clean 5-6 times with Nikwax Tech Wash® before it requires re-waterproofing. When washing alone doesn't revitalize the DWR, it's time to re-waterproof using the appropriate Nikwax waterproof, which for most dog gear is TX.Direct®.

This dog wetsuit protects the core while your dog is in and out of cold water and running on land during hunting season and beyond. Designed with full range of movement in mind, you can confidently handle the roughest terrain. The lower panel offers protection against sharp vegetation with a reinforced neoprene construction while the upper panel covers the back, shoulders and most of the chest providing warmth. The two panels connect with strong hook-and-loop fasteners on both sides of the neck and the chest for a snug, customized fit. The low-profile handle, which stays flat to avoid getting snagged, can be used to lift the dog into a boat. The neoprene and side foam panels add buoyancy providing extra support in the water without compromising range of motion or agility while swimming or on land. There is a rear rope attachment point for a leash or long line, a neck-mounted loop for the attachment of a light and/or small tracking device, and the bright orange colour and 3M™ reflective detail give visibility in low light conditions.
