About Us
Sawyer... our best friend of the furry kind. This is our story...
We met Sawyer through a good friend who rescued him from a life less than ideal. Knowing us and our love of the outdoors, she contacted us first to see if we were interested. We had been talking about adopting a dog for quite some time but felt that the time was never right due to our hectic work schedules. So we entertained the idea of fostering as a 'let's give it a go'! Why not right?
As soon as she walked through the door with this little 1 year old puppy, it was LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT!
We knew right away that he was the perfect addition to our active outdoor family. He's a natural in the canoe, leads the trail on every hike without ever leaving us behind, swims until sundown, and protects us from any unseen forces in the backcountry when camping. He loves being outside all year round.
Our adventures since Sawyer joined us have been spectacular and so much more complete. Just as we like to be comfortable and safe with the help of good quality gear, so should Sawyer.
And so we created See Sawyer Run! A place where dog lovers can find the best gear for their selfless companions.
Our mission is to provide quality and high performance dog gear to support and encourage an active lifestyle all year round. Our handpicked products will help make any canine's adventures safer and more comfortable - rain or shine or snow!

- We won the 2019 Best Exhibitor Booth at the largest dog festival in North America (based in Toronto) - WOOFSTOCK!
- Chris was the recipient of the Meaford Chamber of Commerce Special Merit Award in 2017 for exceptional effort enhancing the quality of life within our community, through his other "gig" - Chris Scerri Presents!
- Marissa launched a community initiative in March 2020 - Masks for Meaford - and raised almost $8,000 for the Meaford Hospital Foundation!
- Marissa was the Event Chair and organized the 2018 Furball Gala for the Georgian Triangle Humane Society - and raised over $70,000!
