Winter traction and insulation

Packaged as a pair of 2 boots, the Ruffwear Polar Trex Boots are engineered for winter weather and designed to provide warmth and traction on snow and ice. Insulated upper softshell fabric creates breathable, weatherproof warmth in extreme cold and inclement weather. Ruffwear-designed Vibram® outsole provides optimum traction on frozen surfaces.

Closure system combines hook-and-loop with hardware, cinching around the narrowest part of the dog’s leg to provide a secure fit. Pullover stretch gaiter keeps snow out and improves retention by protecting the hook-and-loop ankle closure from the elements.

Just as you would with your gear, adjust fit and check tension of boots 15 minutes into your activity and throughout the adventure as needed.

The Long Distance + Jacket uses PrimaLoft® insulation and a heat-reflective membrane to provide warmth and comfort while running and while resting in temperatures as low as -50 degrees Celsius. The durable ripstop outer shell is both windproof and waterproof to provide excellent protection against the elements. The heat-reflective membrane on the smooth inner lining is able to retain 3 times more heat than standard nylon. The recycled PrimaLoft® Black Insulation Hi-Loft is light and breathable, and easily packs into a backpack or sled for long races and expeditions. The Long Distance + Jacket is secured with two strong areas of hook-and-loop fasteners over the chest and under the belly to accomodate a good fit over a pulling harness. It is designed to provide insulation over key areas of the body (chest, shoulders, thighs and waist) while still allowing unrestricted movement. There is an optional cover to protect male genitals and reflective branding on the sides for visibility in low light conditions.

This full-body suit protects your dog from snow, ice, mud, ticks and more! An updated version of the Protector Snow

The Protector Suit Pro provides full-body coverage yet still allows full freedom of movement while being active outdoors! If your dog has ever had trouble with snowballs accumulating on their fur then the Protector Suit Pro is a must-have so they can get outside and enjoy winter adventures. This suit is not insulated but can be layered underneath your favourite jacket if needed. In the off season, it provides protection against mud, ticks, foxtails (grass awns), and burrs. The Protector Suit Pro comes in male and female versions with a custom cut opening for your dog to urinate. The Protector Half Suit provides tight-fitting coverage over the chest, armpits, and down the front legs.
