The Ruffwear Overcoat Fuse™ is a rugged workhorse two-in-one harness-vest combo jacket for your cold-weather explorer! This handy vest makes getting ready to go a breeze with the built in harness' two direct leash attachment points. The abrasion-resitant shell provides all-weather protection and does well against thorny plants too. The high-loft insulation (new this year!) gives the vest-wearer warmth on those chilly walks. Attachment points on the back and the chest offer classic harness options, and as a bonus you can quickly access pick-up bags and small essentials in the two zippered pockets. Slip on, clip in - and go!

The Ruffwear Overcoat Fuse Jacket-Harness Combo is an excellent jacket for our 36 lb. English Springer Spaniel on mild winter days in the Maritimes. It is very well constructed and the fabric is exceptionally durable. The jacket provides freedom of movement and the pockets are handy for carrying extra poop bags. I highly recommend this product!

I love this jacket so much that I purchased a second one. It had the no pull clip in the front that’s great for walking and the metal d ring on the back so that he’s safe while travelling in the car. The quality is excellent; water repelling with a nice thing fleece lining for the majority of winter weather we experience on the coast. It’s not too bulky and constricting like a heavier fleece lined coat.

We love how easy it is to get on and off our border collie Hamish. The fact that it is a harness and jacket all in one and that it covers all the way back to and including his rear hips makes this an exceptional jacket. The quality is great, the pockets are large, and the buckles are covered with a flap.

It’s good quality and I love the lining for extra warmth on winter days, but it would be nice if it had adjustable straps for the shoulders too. It fits well, but when he walks or runs it’s very loose and happy. I’m worried he’s going to catch himself on something if running. I think we’ll just use it as his winter safety harness for the car which is perfect. 5 stars for strapping him inside the car, but I was really wanting a warm and comfortable harness for hikes in the woods.

It is a nice jacket and fits our Yorkie quite well. The waterproof and reflective feature are very good. However, putting it over her head is a bit awkward and the snaps being tucked inside a covering are a bit awkward to undo. We have another jack that zips up on the back and the latches are on her back. This is easier to work with. Both jackets have good features.

My previous dog (now deceased) and my current dog have worn this coat in Canyonland Orange. We love it and are sorry that the colour is being retired. The coat goes right into the washing machine and remains waterproof and warm. What a bargain!

Love this fuse overcoat for my Chihuahua. I like that I can put extra layers on my dog on those cooler days without adding the bulk of a harness. I find most harness openings don't leave enough space behind the legs & tend to rub. This harness coat doesn't do that. I think my dog is much more comfortable. I love this coat so much that it is my second order. I also bought the light purple one!

Super smart looking jacket that keeps Ziggy dry and warm. It’s definitely not ideal for a long time spent outside in super cold weather, as it’s light and more of a soft-lined windbreaker or shell material, but we’ve found it great for our standard pacific northwest winter. I absolutely love that it’s also a harness, we use the front attachment to prevent pulling and the back one for walking and seatbelt attachment in the car.

Bronson is a bulldog rotti cross. So 26” back with a 33” chest. Most jackets that fit his chest are too long. This jacket is perfect. I bought a large (he is 80lbs.), and the chest adjusts perfectly with fairly sturdy looking closures. His coat is bulldog looking, thin and short, so this will be perfect for spring and fall. The main selling feature of this jacket is the sewn in leash hooks, chest and back. These eliminate the need for a harness and jacket. The outer material appears durable.

A great all in one coat and harness for Rede. Rede is a 5 month old Border Terrier, about 11 1/2 lbs, 12.5" neck to tail, 11.5" tall at the shoulders and 17" chest. She has some room to grow into with the XS but its not crazy big, it still keeps her warm. The harness is strong and secure, love the easy to use buckles hiden under a flap at either side, the beacon loop, pockets and sturdy leash attachment loops. She seems to be very comfortable in the jacket and it's the perfect weight for warmer winter days (she wears this down to about -10°C then we switch to a coat with fuller coverage and more insulation). It's so quick to slip on when you gotta go! We ❤ it!

I was very pleased with the Ruffwear Overcoat Fuse Jacket. It is very well made and is a very comfortable fit for our dog Luna. I particularly like the fleece lining, and the way the fasteners are hidden away in enclosures on each side of the jacket. It is very simple to put on and off.

We like this jacket! The fabric is nice, seems warm, and there is good coverage. It is a bit big on Scotty, but he is a 16 month old skinny teenager and likely to fill out a bit. We have yet to try it outside, but I am sure it will serve him well this winter!

I wanted to trial this overcoat for a bit before I wrote a review Shipping was so quick! I was really happy and impressed. The jacket is well made and the colour exactly as shown. I have walked my dog using both the front and back leash connectors. Works great although a dog that pulls a lot I would feel unsafe and still use a backup leash and collar or harness. This jacket is definitely easy on and easy off. The side clips adjust easily and are secure. I do wish that you had an extra long option when ordering as I do find the neck to tail length is a bit short. I was aware of this before ordering but the extra large would have been huge. My setter loves this coat and it looks fabulous on him!

We have two of these coats already for our dogs. We ordered this one for my sister's 11 month old Mini Aussie Shepherd. Unfortunately neither the S or XS fits his body shape. Our son and his GF have the younger brother MAS who is now about 13 weeks old, and the XS fits perfectly at this point! Great service as always from the See Sawyer Run team!!

Finnie my 10 month old 15 lb Dandie Dinmont fits an XS perfectly. Ruffwear accommodates a long back and even articulates at the tail end for a “shaped to the body fit.” I can get a visual on her easily in this pumpkin colour with reflexive detailing. Craftsmanship is excellent. Having the harness built in means a “no fuss” get ready to go! Pairs nicely with other Ruffwear fleece and accessories!! Highly recommended from this doggie Mom!!!

XXS is perfect for my 8,2 lbs miniature sausage dog. The pockets are useless lol : i can barely fit 2 fingers in the zipper. But u can put an emergency poop bag i guess. Color and materials are amazing. The quality is up to what u pay for. Love it!

The perfect Coat for West Coast living! I love that Skylar can wear this coat just as it is in the Spring or put a fleece coat underneath for extra warmth on those cooler days. I also like that I don't have to put a harness on her as it is built right in! This coat is very well made & is a good fit for Skylar, my 7 pound Chihuahua X.

Through past experience with coats for my dogs I have found most to be adequate. I love the overcoat fuse. It is not too warm, but protects against the wind and it is very water resistant (better than my coat). The harness part is also working well. I was a bit worried at first whether it would be strong enough. But it appears to be as strong as front range harness. I am very satisfied.
