It's easy to adjust the length (i.e. from 1.1 to 1.8m or 3.5 to 6 feet), can be worn around your waist when running/walking, and has a convenient traffic handle to keep your dog close when needed - and we love the Talon Clip! Bonus: Ruffwear's Tubelok™ webbing has a reflective trim for added visibility during low light conditions.

12/10 would recommend, rated for all golden flops and refusals. On a more serious note, this is my go to leash, It's adjustable and can be worn around the wrist or waist which is a nice option to have especially out on trail. The clasp style is my favourite out of all the different ruffwear types as it's incredibly durable, easy to open, doesn't rust and never opens accidentally. The small hidden strap on the handle is amazing for carrying extra bag holders and bags themselves, it's something I didn't realize I would use so much. The material is easy to clean and washes up well, doesn't hold onto moisture very long (typically dry within 15-20 minutes). I will be repurchasing this as long as ruffwear keeps making it.

I bought this so we could have the option to eventually use it to run with our dog. But since he is still a puppy, we use it as a regular leash for now and I love how it's sturdy but doesn't hurt my hand when he pulls. I esp. love the tiny opening on the handle for attaching poop bags and in our case, a small flashlight (with a cord). We use it with Ruffwear's Hi & Light harness. It's a pity the colours don't match but it's not the end of the world since everything else works like a charm.

I use this leash everyday and I love it. I always attach it to my waist as this is my preferred way to walk my dog. When/If I use the hand it’s very comfy. It’s winter now and most of our walks are in the dark now so the reflective of the leash is much appreciated. Super strong material, I’m confident this will last a lifetime! the latch is something I’m not use to but it looks kinda cool and works just fine for me.

Great leash so far! I really like the sturdy clasp. Especially as someone who walks other people's dogs all day, I feel secure. Having the ability to wear the leash around my waist is also super helpful. It is really easy to adjust the length of the leash and once adjusted, it stays put. The only thing I wish was different was the buckle. I feel as though over time, a metal clasp would be more durable than a plastic buckle, but hopefully it will last a while regardless. I also really like the accessory loop. I use it to clip on a carabiner to attach other leashes to me, as well as my hand sanitizer bottle, but it would be great for a treat pouch or poop bags as well. Overall its been a great purchase so far and I feel like it will last a while :)

A high quality leash that can be used hands free around the waist, around the wrist or in your hand. Adjustable up to six feet this leash is versatile and has some reflective stitching for night walks. Matched with the same collar Norman is stylin' during his adventures. Ps. Shipping was free and done the next day. The prices were the same as the biggest online retailer, who, in spite of prime, often take 2 days to ship now.

Finding this leash in Canada (without paying an arm and a leg for shipping) proved to be no easy task. I have never bought from See Sawyer Run before, but will certainly be a repeat customer. Very fast shipping, very reasonable prices. I have no idea how we (Rocky, my 36lb best friend and I) went so long without this Ruffwear waist leash. It is truly fantastic. Very easy to adjust, yet secure with the setting you leave it on. The buckle is sturdy and feels of high quality. Easy to adjust on the fly - While running I have the leash around my waist, but when approaching other dogs I un-clip the waist belt, re-clip it to become a "regular leash". I can do all of this without stopping or slowing down. The other feature I love is how the buckle stays front and center. There is no safety release, but I have tested it and the buckle always stays in place, meaning if you encounter a situation where you need to un-clip from your dog in a hurry (hiking, dog stumbles down embankment for example), you can do so. Highly recommend this leash. It is truly the only leash we use anymore.
