The Ruffwear Sun Shower Raincoat is a weatherproof jacket built for keeping your dog dry in wet conditions. Waterproof fabric helps extend adventures into wet weather by keeping dogs comfortable. Lightweight and non-insulated, the Sun Shower both excels as a standalone shell and layers well over an insulating mid-layer for rain management in colder temps.

Great water proof coat. Some water leaks in from the head down the neck but the torso/back stays dry. I am not sure how rip-resistant it is but holds up well in light undergrowth.

Oscar loves this rain coat even though you shipped us the wrong colour! This is his second RUFF WEAR rain coat and the improvements- harness connection port, leg straps and split for his tail are all great. We think it looks very stylish on him. Plus it keeps him dry and keeps dirt and mud off his belly when he goes for his walks in the forest. It’s perfect for him!

We measured our dog according to the sizing guide -- he's a 22 lb Jack Russell mix. When the coat arrived (size S) it was way too big on him. Had to return (and had to pay for return shipping).

Initially I was concerned with the tight chest fit but that was due to a bigger harness underneath (S Front Range Harness). The S Sun Shower was quite big (long and baggy) on my 24lb Shiba so I ended up keeping the XS. Great, lightweight rain jacket. Always happy with the design and quality of Ruffwear products. Shipping was fast and See Sawyer's customer service was great!

Love the new updated version of this jacket! The coverage on the back and tummy area is way better than the old design. The elastics around the legs are great to keep the jacket on, especially for windy downpours. Large fits perfectly on my 7 month old Bernese. I’ll be getting the pink one for my other dog even though she has the old version. The new one is such an improvement!

The coat fits you 23lb mini labradoodle well. Love the slit for a harness, but we also use a regular collar leash and would like a slit for that as well. There is a loop at collar area, so we put a small carabiner there for leash attachment.

Got this raincoat in a size medium for my 6 month old golden! Got it in a larger size since he’s growing, so it’s fitting larger on him but he’ll grow into it. He loves walking in the rain and this coat kept his body super dry-we love it!

The Ruffwear Sun Shower Raincoat in size S fits my 36 lb. English Springer Spaniel perfectly! The tapered fit keeps her dry and the elastic at the rear legs keeps the raincoat from blowing up over her back. The Hibiscus Pink colour provides excellent visibility on dull, wet, foggy days. The raincoat is well constructed and meets the high quality standards of Ruffwear. Shipping was prompt from See Sawyer Run and I would highly recommend this raincoat.

This is a good quality raincoat! Looks like it fits my standard poodle well but I'd want more coverage. Her belly, legs, neck, and head are completely exposed. I'd think of it as more of a windbreaker than a raincoat.

Had this item shipped to BC, after a brief delay in shipping the company express delivered my item to help speed things along. It did arrive in a timely manner and in perfect condition. The jacket fits my dog really well and I love the hind leg straps so the jacket doesn’t blow off her back in the wind. I also like how it’s made of a light material so my dog doesn’t over heat while wearing it.

I was a little unsure if the product at first but honestly it’s fantastic! I personally love that it has the port at the back for the front range harness leash attachment point to be secured. Our dog is never off leash so this is perfect, we can still utilize our favourite harness without sacrificing functionality. Love that is has the beacon attachment as well for our night walks. It’s incredibly lightweight as well. The only downsides for me were: - the rear leg straps are sewn somewhat far apart so they tend to ride up on our dog but this might also just be a sizing issue for our dog specifically -I wish the underside covering was longer, having it short like the harness ones is great for mobility but it means the dogs underside still gets quite wet. - more colours please!

Worked brilliantly! Typical high quality from Ruffwear. Will use this as a hard shell in the winter with a fleece midlayer (also RW) to keep the snow off in the milder winter/wet months. Taped seams and top leash hole with cover. Solid belly straps with durable fastec buckles, rear leg loop not too tight to allow movement. See Sawyer provide great customer service and communication and ships quick too. My go to for Dog stuff from a independent retailer.

So my Cairn Terrier/Miniature Poodle (Cairnoodle) puppy has a long body. Finding a jacket that fit the body length was a struggle! I tried on so many at the pet stores that only went halfway down his back. This is perfect! Charlie is 15lbs and with the adjustable straps the XS perfectly and covers his whole body and legs while allowing him to go to easily do his business without the jacket getting in the way! Also the clip in spot for the harness is awesome... avoids the need to adjust the harness. And with the days getting shorter the reflective feature makes me feel safer walking him in the dark. Also it's very easy to wash and dries super fast! This product is more than worth the price. You absolutely get what you pay for! Don't hesitate - buy this jacket!

Nice and light weight for spring and summer downpour. I love the bright magenta colour on my dog, it’s so pretty and easy to spot. It is easy to clean and does not trap wet dog smell like some other heavy rain gear. I wish there was more chest coverage to protect her from mud puddles, but I am still happy with the purchase.
