OUR MOST POPULAR HARNESS! The Ruffwear Front Range™ Harness is an everyday harness that is easy to put on and comfortable for dogs to wear. Plus, it's a great alternative to wearing a dog collar.

If your dog tends to pull and tug while on leash, the harness provides added control with two (2) leash attachments points: an aluminum V-ring centered on the dog's back and reinforced webbing at the dog's chest to help redirect them. It has four (4) points of adjustment for a custom fit. Plus, it's cut generously around the shoulders to allow a full range of motion when running.

Durable, padded, and easy to put on, the Front Range Harness makes spontaneous outdoor adventures an everyday reality whether at the city cafe, local park, or country roads.

I have been a bit disappointed with some of the fabric colours (when new they look kind of faded or used - the purple and the red rust were nowhere near as vibrant as previous colours I purchased). Due to my dogs’ small heads and big chests (they’re Formosan Mountain mixes) it’s difficult to find a harness that fits them properly. This one is good for one of my dogs, who walks well on a leash, and doesn’t attempt to back out. She loves the harness.

Harness is great, well padded. One improvement that could be consider form product developpement, is to add a handle (light version) on the top of the harness so it can ease when we need to grap our pup ! As of now, grapping is like hackward, there's no good grip. Last comment, could be also for appearance, to have a beautifull pink color for femal... Cheers !

First off...I love the teal color..such a lovely summer color. The harness is definitely escape proof which is what I needed as my Standard Poodle is very savvy. I also like that it has multiple adjustment points which is very convenient if you have a growing puppy. Now what I don't like about the harness is that it's on the stiff side and the material isn't very breathable. The fact that it's stiffer does prevent the dog from pulling so that's a positive. I also dont like that the adjustment buckles are partially hidden underneath material..it makes it a struggle to adjust the harness. That said..I do like the harness and we have used it on our hikes!

Great look and fit. Miles better than our previous one, that cut into her shoulders! She seems to be comfy :) I'm not sure if the front of the neck-hole cuts into her neck a bit - she has a wide neck with a lot of skin and fur. So easy to put on, a bit harder to pull off her head, but solid, strong and well-made. Happy with it!

The harness works very well and is a comfortable fit on the dog. The only problem is that the strap that holds the hook at the top of the harness does not last. We had to purchase another harness because of this. It needs a much more durable material for a large breed dog. I am going to try to find someone, perhaps a shoe repair person, to see if they can replace the strap with something more suitable.

Maya has been using the front range harness for years, she has lots of the colours, and we swap in new ones when the old ones won’t come clean, or the get tattered. They helped when she was younger and pulled like a freight train, the front loop helped with that.
